Choking Victim & Leföver Crack

I bought this two CDs at Leftöver Crack's gig in Attack club (RIP) in Zagreb. Leftöver Crack was formed out of the ashes of Choking Victim so I've decided to post this two bands together.

Choking Victim are punk/ska/hc band from New York's Lower East Side neighborhood and they were active during the 1990's. "No Gods No Managers" is their only album, and I like it a lot! I first heard them on Hellcat Records' compilation "Give 'Em The Boot" and got interested in them. Then Leftöver Crack played a gig in my hometown and I got this CD from their distro. As I've written earlier, Leftöver Crack was formed in 2000 after the breakup of Choking Victim. "Mediocre Generica" is their first album and it was released on Hellcat Records. Their sound is similar to Choking Victim and it's a mix of punk, hc, reggae, ska... Leftöver Crack are still active and nowadays they are signed to both Fat Wreck Chords and Alternative Tentacles.
