Check this out, Internet, Freedom, etc... Copyright bullshit too

OK, anyone wondering what's going on with all the copyright bullshit on the internet should really check this show, made by Abby Martin. It airs on RT America (RT = Russia Today, don't worry, it's not some Putin outpost airing mental crap about him being a hero cos he's flying in a small kite/airplane leading a flock of swans to their winter destination, it's actually a really good news station dealing with all kinds of news).

These next few YouTube links are from Abby Martins show "Breaking the Set" (that's TV set she's breaking :).

BTS no. 88. - 1st part of interview with Kim Dotcom:

BTS no. 89. - 2nd part of interview with Kim Dotcom:

And if someone wants to go deeper there's 2 part interview that lasts longer:

PT. 1:

PT. 2:

OK, there you go... I gotta say Kim Dotcom is not my hero or anything, he is a capitalist, or a businessman, whatever that means... All I know is that he has some interesting stuff to say, makes me think some more about how this world is run. And about how capitalism is a lie, unless you got "good friends" (read: bribed politicians in your pockets).

Bandcamp

OK, gotta find new ways of finding and listening to music. One good way to find and download new music is Bandcamp. I haven't been really exploring the ways this site makes profit and all that, but from what I've seen so far, it looks like a good option to find, listen, and also download for free or if you really like it, buy music.
The bands put their stuff on and you can choose the way you're gonna download it, sometimes it's free, sometimes it costs few dollars.
Or you can just listen to it.
Seems cool to me, so I'll be putting links to bands that can be found on Bandcamp for free.

COPYRIGHT CENSORSHIT

Seems like my MediaFire account was suspended (whatever that means in bureaucracy terms). I suppose I shared too much of copyrighted crap on this blog. But the sad thing is, they didn't remove just the files that were infringing on copyright but they removed ALL of my files. That means NONE of the links work at this moment. MediaFire has a policy of suspending accounts (stupid term, I think they should call it KILLING the accounts) that get too many DMCA notices (DMCA = Digital Millennium Copyright Act). I personally don't have the problem with the owners of the music I post on here wanting to get their stuff removed, as it's their music, they made it etc. blah-blah they own it, yawn, but obviously me and them have a different vision of how the internet and free sharing of information should be handled. They chose the police state approach, so FUCK THEM!

They use the logic that every album you guys downloaded from this blog hurts their wallets, they say that every download is one less bought CD for them, and I think that is ridiculous. I know from my own experience that people don't want to buy every crap that is out there, if they care about the band they will go and BUY the shit band has to offer. Basically, downloaders get the blame for the bad state of music industry (and maybe that's the problem, it's a fucking industry, forget all the idealist stuff about how music is ART, it's a money making industry!) and it's cos the industry SUCKS big time. No one buys CDs anymore cos music suck!!! Not cos of people are downloading! People who download are the people who buy your music "products", you morons from the music industry!
All this industry and business talk is making me sick cos this blog, and 90% of the posts I had on here were non profit, D.I.Y., share-my-stuff type of music.
Stuff I mostly put on here was for me like a testament of my own life, stuff I liked, stuff that made me think about life, world, how things work, and now they messed it up. NO MORE DOWNLOADS!!!

FUCK YOU MUSIC INDUSTRY! FUCK YOU OLD PUNKS THAT WANT TO HAVE A NICE HOME AND A NICE CAR COS YOU'RE OLD AND CAN'T BE BOTHERED WITH MAKING ANOTHER COOL RECORD. FUCK YOU CORPORATIONS, AND FUCK YOU MEDIAFIRE FOR NOT EVEN CHECKING THE FILES YOU GET COMPLAINTS ABOUT.

Some of the crap I got suspended for wasn't even the stuff the complaint was about.

But enough of me whining. What is there to do? Give up? Say "That's it, I'm quitting"? NO!

I'm gonna keep on doing this blog, gonna find other ways to share music, gonna make another Mediafire account and post shit on there, gonna try and work it out, I'm not gonna let some scum tell me what I can and what I can't do. FUCK YOU ASSHOLES!!!

Only thing I know I won't ever do is buy another CD from a music industry.
I don't care what you guys do, leave me alone!

What this means for this blog? ALL LINKS ARE DEAD!!! Both no-copyright and the ones that are industry owned. I can't upload them all again, so I'll just do ones that people are requesting, meaning, put a comment in the post and if it's not the shit that got me fucked up, I'll reupload it again.

Apologies for the long read, the rakija might had something to do with it. ;)

Arrest The Pope

Dunno anything about people who started this thing, this petition to send Pope to the Hague ICC (International Criminal Court), but I like it! Check the link bellow to see what's it all about and make your own mind if this make sense or not. I hope it's not some scam, cos I'd really like to see Pope and the Church on trial. This is not started by me, I just picked up on it.

And here's good old Disorder with their "Dope Not Pope" :)

"Is this thing still on?"

It's hard to answer the question in the title of this post. I am not sure how to define the state of this blog at this moment. I would like for it to still be alive but my previous track record is telling me differently. As you can see, I haven't been very active in last 2 or more years, and I kinda doubt I'll be more active from now on. Last 5 posts were actually stuff I had "on ice", stuff which was on my "to do" list for a long time. I got nothing new planned for posting, but (I hope) this doesn't mean that occasionally something new won't pop up on here to share with you.

I suppose I'll need to sit down and have a serious thinking session about the future of this blog. I want it to go somewhere, but where should it go, it's still a mystery to me. Being unemployed at the moment also doesn't help. I thought that being unemployed would give me lots of free time to work on this blog, but it seems like I was wrong. If nothing, I am working on the blog even less. Also, all this copyright terror (ACTA, SOPA, CISPA, and all other state/big business sponsored censorship action) is making sharing stuff really hard, with cyber lockers removing files like mad in fear of being closed down like Megaupload. That means I won't be re-uploading stuff that gets removed cos of requests from it's "owners" (record companies) or stuff that gets removed cos the bands themselves want it removed.
I'll be still checking on the blog like usual (maybe once a week) and try to answer your comments. And yeah, I got bored with the all black design of the blog, so here's the new design. See you all (I hope) very soon with new stuff for you to enjoy.

Were there any... technical problems??

There was some trouble with downloading stuff from ADrive, it seems they for some unknown reason moved all my files from being public ones (and hence available for download) to private ones (making them not possible to download). I fixed it, so there should be no more problems with ADrive links. MediaFire and Div$hare ones are to my knowledge working as usual. Stay good, I'll see you soon!

Tapes are here... Oops, is it already the end of May?

Hi to everyone!
Again some new posts on Nečista Savjest blog. I was trying to organize some ripping from cassettes, and I finally succeeded! I managed to get a digital preamplifier so some rarities or/and legendary releases from Ex-YU scene (and some other ones too) are gonna be featured next. I have to warn you that quality of those Ex-YU releases (production and sound) are not always the best. During the 1990's when I was involved in the scene tapes were the main way of getting your music to people, since vinyl or CDs weren't accessible (or better said affordable). Most of the tapes releases were recorded in a garage or some other practice place, or in some “cheap” (read: not very well equipped) studio and they were multiplied on home stereos, copied to blank tapes or even on used ones. Only later in 1990's really professionally copied tapes appeared and after that home computers and cheap CD-Rs have done their work (and mp3s too) so spreading of punk became much easier.
Well I hope you'll enjoy what I planned to upload and thanx to everyone who left a comment, I have not posted on this blog, but I have been watching your input and I thank you all once more.
Good blogs that I've found recently are viva la anarquia (in French) and Sabots & Songs (done by Luc(a)s from USA). Go and check them out, I think they're worth it!
That's all from me, and... crap... it really is the end of May... I misplaced one month... somewhere... where did it go... damn... I'll never drink again!

Happy Victory Day over Nazi scums to you all!

Babbling on in Babylon....

Nečista Savjest is back after more than a month long hibernation. Nothing much going on in my personal life that would justify this absence from blog, I'll just have to try to stay more consistent in the future.
First of all, big thanx to Ivo B. (AKA Dirty Hedgehog) who provided music for last five posts by kindly borrowing me the CDs and so making it possible to rip and scan them.
Also I added some new links under “Other Cool Sites” and I would recommend you to check them out. Lo-Res Viscera is full of excellent hardcore/grind/crust stuff and it comes from San Francisco, USA. Enemy Of The Music Business is similar, also whole bunch of excellent stuff with maybe more anarchist punk on it, it's in Spanish although it's being made out of Bern in Switzerland. Ballistic Wax is done by John Spithead, front-man of one of my favourite ska/punk bands called Spithead so I'm a bit flattered that I got to know him through this blog :) . As I've already mentioned, all above blogs are well worth checking out so don't let your lazy mouse finger keep you out of reach of some excellent music!
I also managed to move my lazy fat arse and upload new stuff to ADrive and MediaFire as well so I hope that this gives you more choice when downloading.
Thanx to people who left comments, they were a big inspiration and support for me to keep on with this blog!
Also I would like for everyone to leave a comment (under “komentari”) cos I want to see what you like. Statistics for download don't work on ADrive so I haven't got a clue what's being downloaded and adding a comment would help a lot. You don't have to write a 10 page essay, just plain thanks would be enough, and also all problems with links - please post in comments!
Well, that's it for now, stay free and have fun in your life!

News & other stuff

Hello to all! I thought that I should inform you about some of the stuff I've been involved in during last couple of days.
First of all, for all of you out there who are Dekubitus fans (check my first post ever) there is good news. Dekubitus released their new CD. It's called "Nekro sevdah" and it's the expanded (more songs) and better produced (more polished) version of their 2005 release of the same title. Head over to Poskok blog for more info and details. I got the original CD of this new version of "Nekro sevdah" (I'm not uploading it until all original CD's are sold) and I must say that you won't be sorry if you somehow get it, it has some surprises on it, and it really does sound better than the previous 2005 version.
I've found this blog called jebo copyrights (fuck copyrights) and it's an excellent resource for all of you wanting to learn (download) more about recent Ex-Yugoslavian punk/hc stuff. Check it out, it has some good things on it.
There's also one sad news: PunchDrunk blog is closing down. I visited it today and was truly saddened with this news. It was one of the most inspiring blogs, and for me it was the one that got me into doing my own blog (alongside some other excellent blogs). I'll be missing it a lot, so cheers to Robert and his PunchDrunk!
Also, one of the things that will be going on with Nečista Savjest blog is that I'm going to take a break for a while. I've exhausted my CD collection, and I also want to upload more rare stuff on this blog so untill I figure out the way to rip cassettes (all Ex-YU punk/hc stuff from the 1990's is mostly on tape) to my computer I'll just post stuff on Nečista Savjest from time to time, and only if I find something really interesting.
Concerning dowloads, recently I've been following a discussion on Röckin' Nöiz about ADrive and the speed of downloads from that file hosting service. MediaFire was suggested as a possible alternative. I will try to post future uploads on both ADrive and MediaFire, only irony being that MediaFire has a 100 MB per file limit, so the bigger files (and as I see it, those are the ones needing faster download speed) won't be uploaded to MediaFire.
Well, that's it from me for now. Have fun in your life!

At last, new stuff will be coming soon

Hello to everybody!
I've finally managed to upload all of my previous posts to ADrive, so I can now start with new uploads. And to break the monotony in design of this blog, I'll be trying out this "new look" (changed the font, but I'll comfort myself that it was some complicated design work I had to do :-)).
I also have two more blogs that I think you should check out:
SUICIDE CITY - this blog hails from town of Subotica and it's done by a guy called Milan. A whole bunch of Japanese stuff here, well worth the visit!
HANGOVER HEART ATTACK - I am speechless, this is one monster of a blog. I just downloaded some Minutemen bootlegs, but there is so much interesting stuff on this blog I'm afraid to explore more. Highly recommended!
Well, that's it for now, bye!

Been doing some maintenance work...

Hi to all!
If you've noticed that there are no new posts for some time now, it's because I've been doing some work on this blog, mainly I've been trying to upload all the stuff I've posted until now to ADrive, cos of Div$$$hare's new policy for free accounts. You can check my "Possible problems with Divshare" post for more details...
While uploading I've been spending quality time by hanging out at this next few blogs:
CORPUS DELICTI - interesting blog for people who want hard to get stuff from Ex-Yugoslavia. It's done by Kktz who is a living encyclopedia of bands, zines and people who participated in the punk/hardcore/alternative scene. Well worth checking out!
AUDIO HEAVEN - done by a guy called Alex, this is a treasure chest of a blog. He says he is a metal head, but I think that everyone can find something there. For me personally the most interesting are his posts/uploads about bands from Pula (Pula is Punk!!!), the town with in my opinion the best punk/HC scene in Croatia.
7inchcrust - no need for introduction here since I've seen links to this blog on almost every blog I've visited. And for a good reason. Excellent releases, well written infos, what's more to say then check this one out if you haven't already!
RÖCKIN' NÖIZ - done by my friend Malisha. Also a very good blog, excellent releases, and since he is a bit of a perfectionist, you can be sure that the stuff you download from him will be properly ripped and tagged. Cheers to him!
PEACE OR ANNIHILATION - another interesting blog, with some great crusty stuff on it.
SIMON GANE - done by, well, Simon Gane. He's a cartoonist and illustrator (an artist to make it simple) who did a zine called Arnie back in the 90's, which had a great influence in Croatian punk zines scene (it's design got copied a lot...), and who did excellent comics like "Little Arnie"(Anti State Tortoise rules!!!), "Subvertman" (about a crusty punk who gets his super powers by drinking a case of radioactive cider!) and "The Right On Kids". I like his style of drawing, so if for nothing else, go check it out for a beautiful artwork that can be seen on this blog.
So, that's it for now, I'm planning future post/uploads, but I'm not sure when exactly I will manage to put them up, cos I want to fix everything I've uploaded until now. Hope you'll have patience, try and visit Nečista Savjest occasionally and maybe you'll have a pleasant surprise.
Oh yes, and leaving a comment wouldn't hurt you (I can communicate in English and almost all Ex-Yugoslavian languages) and it would give me a satisfaction of knowing that all this shit I do matters to someone.

Nečista Savjest files on Badongo (NOT ANY MORE!!!)

I've found this file hosting service called Badongo, they say it's free and that it has no limits for uploading so I'll be using them for hosting my files for now. I've tried it out and the thing works OK, although it's a little bit more complicated than DivShare. Well, I hope that it will be working without to much trouble for all of you who are downloading stuff from this blog.
Bye for now!
News as of 24.01.2008.: Badongo sucks big way! I'm not uploading on that file hosting service any more. It's crap, I've managed to upload 3 files without problems, but after that I've been trying to upload stuff for last couple of days and it was a total failure. Connection broke many times when I was at 90%, and when I finally managed to upload something it was all screwed up (i.e. a 100 MB file was fucked up and Badongo showed that it has only 4 MB! What the fuck???). So, simply, big F.O.A.D. to Badongo! I'm not using them any more, and from my own irritating experience (wasted both time and nerves) I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Fuck you Badongo!!!

Possible problems with DivShare

As you've probably figured it out, I have been uploading files to Divshare. I was pretty happy with their service, but today I found out that they've restricted the size of my (and other free accounts) to 5 GB, and also added a restriction on how many downloads a free account like mine can have in a month. I have no intention to pay to upgrade my account, so there might be some problems with dowloading from DivShare when I reach their quotas for free accounts. I hope that this won't happen, but I feel that I should warn you that maybe there could be some problems with downloading stuff from Nečista Savjest. I'll try to figure it out, I'm trying to find some other file hosting service to upload my files, but to be honest, I'm dreading the possibility that I would have to move all the stuff I've uploaded until now to somewhere else.
Well, that's it for now. If you have problems downloading, if some of the links don't work, please just tell me by posting a comment (under "komentari") in the latest post on this blog, and I'll try to fix it even if it means moving all my files to some other file hosting service.
Cheers for now!
